I have spent much of my life designing systems. Photography is where I stop solving and start noticing.
I am an engineer, software builder, cyclist and traveller. Those interests shape what I notice: the logic of an object, the energy of movement, the character of a place and the brief alignment that turns an ordinary scene into a photograph.
This site is a small, edited exhibition rather than a complete archive. The collections are allowed to change slowly. Stories hold the occasions where one image needs more room, while social media remains a separate, faster conversation.
Piercing the Mirror is part of the same wider practice. The book and the photographs use different forms, but both begin with attention and an attempt to see more clearly.
