Motion

Motion follows energy through roads, rails, flight, machinery and sport. Some photographs catch visible speed. Others hold the pause before departure or the silence after something has passed. Tracks, signals, platforms and engines belong because movement also lives in anticipation and direction. The collection moves between force and stillness, allowing a journey to be sensed without requiring every frame to contain blur.
